Online Professional Learning Networks
The term Professional Learning Networks (PLNs) refers to any group who engages in collaborative learning with others who are outside of their everyday community of practice. The ultimate aim of these networks is to improve organizational and instructional practices in education. Keeping up to date with instructional resources is an incredibly important component of growing as an effective instructional leader. Social media like Twitter and Instagram, blogs, podcasts, YouTube channels, professional growth groups, and other online resources are tools that will allow instructional leaders to learn and grow by connecting with others.
